WWDC 2017 Scholarship Application [Accepted]
Each year, Apple hosts its Worldwide Developers Conference for developers from all around the world to learn, connect, and work with Apple engineers on their apps. This year, Apple changed it up and is hosting it in San Jose, California for the first time.
Apple also allows students to apply for a scholarship to attend the conference. The requirement this year was to create a Swift Playground. The playground had to be an interactive, creative Playground for Xcode of Playgrounds Book for iPad. Apple selects 350 students to attend.
My Swift Playground lets someone interactively explore the different seasons of New York, and then check out some science behind why the seasons change. I was lucky enough to get selected to attend the conference this year! Check out the video below to see my project.
